A tight number now would be a lie.
Roof area from aerial data is close, not exact. Nobody knows the boards under the shingles until they are in the attic. We would rather show you a wide, honest band than a precise figure that climbs on the day.

Questions about the range tool
Is this a real quote?
No, and we say so on every screen. It is a planning range built from aerial data or the size you enter, plus what you tell us about the roof. The number becomes real only after we measure on site and confirm it in writing.
Why is the range so wide?
Because honesty is worth more than precision we do not have. Roof area from aerial data is approximate, the boards under the shingles are unknown until we are in the attic, and every "not sure" answer widens it further. A tight number at this stage would be a guess dressed up as a fact.
Why do you ask for my details first?
Two reasons. The aerial roof lookup costs us a little every time it runs, and we send you a written copy of your range. You see the full range before you decide whether to send it to us, and we never add you to a list.
My house is a new build and is not on the map. Does this still work?
Yes. Pick "New build or not on the map yet" and enter the footprint or roof area. We price from that and confirm from your drawings.
What happens after I send it?
Our specialists read it personally. You hear from us within one business day to confirm scope and book a site visit or drone survey. Nothing is booked or charged until we inspect.
Is my address stored anywhere?
Your range lives in the link in your address bar, not in a database. Your contact details come to our specialists so they can follow up, and nowhere else.
